Oakwood Fruitfarm

I am writing in response to what happened at the Oakwood Fruit Farm earlier this fall when we went there to do some shopping. Being an author, I also went to place some more books in the store and collect the money from last year's sales. After doing our shopping, I asked where to put the new books. The manager then told me that she would no longer be stocking my book, The Heart Remembers. When I asked her why, she said that they were no longer taking on new books. However, my book had already been placed there 2 years earlier by the old manager, and it had sold out every year. So her answer didn’t smell right to this 93-year-old part-Indigenous disabled veteran. My book was the only one that was taken off their shelves. To me, this looked like a type of book banning. While I understand some of the book is controversial, as it describes how the use of some of our pasture was taken away from us based entirely on perjury, which happened in Grant County, Wisconsin. In my opinion, because of the unjust ruling of that court case, it is among the most racist and corrupt counties in the entire nation. The manager of Oakwood Fruit Farms can discriminate against whoever or whatever she wants. Which reminds me how much she acts like our own president, Mr. Trump. Maybe she is trying to play copycat? I have something to say on that, as when I and other veterans were asked to serve, we went willingly. We did not do this for ourselves and our own kind but also for yours and everyone in this nation. However, I will no longer be buying any produce from Oakwood Fruit Farm, so instead, I will go to the orchard in Gays Mills, which I believe has better apples and lower prices anyhow. One thing that I know for sure is that they also certainly have much more pleasant people to do business with.
